Problem with KYRO 2 and WIN XP please read!

Ok just installed a new athlon 1600+ cpu with a kyro 2 video card and the menus move very sluggish in windows xp, what could be the problem? For example highlighting a bunch of files slows to a crawl. When I have a generic driver it works flawlessly, but the xp drivers have problems, it looks as if this is a driver issue, has anyone experienced or knows a fix for this?

This doesn't happens to everyone, but only know solution (apart from a new driver) is desactivating this option.
-open system properties
-go to the advanced tab
-click on performance settings
-uncheck "show translucent selection rectangle"

had the same problem,go to hercules.com and download the latest driver(xp),this cures the problem and i've had no problems!hope this helps

yeah I've downloaded the new hercules drivers and still has sluggish translucent hilighting Hopefully they'll fix it for all configurations soon.
