my system specs are:
amd 1ghz t-bird @1ghz
256 mb pc-133
abit kt7-raid mobo
soundblaster live platinum
hercules 64 mb geforce 2
Western digital 30gig ata 100 hard drive

My problem is that my brother changed the multiplier setting to 7.5 and the fsb to 133 thinking that it would make the ram go at 133 mhz. My system of course crashed. My monitor will not turn on when i start up my computer, I have to turn on the monitor first then power up. Also when I boot up there is a message after the memory is detected saying that it is detecting the IDE devices. It will hang for a while then eventually boot. How can i fix it? Also when I go into soft screen in the bios the processor is read at 500mhz but everywhere else it says it is a 1000mhz. I try to change it but the monitor will not turn back on after I save the changes in the bios. How would I fix that?
Thanks alot.

Reset the cmos jumper pin on the motherboard and go into bios and reset it to the right configuration.
The jumper pin location is in the mannual, it's arcross from the battery, remove the jumper pin and switch it to the next set of pins, then leave it on for 10 seconds and put it back to where it was, this will reset the bios.
Then go into Bios and reset your multiplyer and FSB speed.
In order to get it to run at 133mz, choose host&clock in the bios, you have pc 133 and should set it to this setting, also enable all the fields before this one to increase your ram speed. Host & Clock is located at the bottom, where you change the multiplier adjustments.
