Problem with Ipod

sup all I got this ipod.. and apparently is screw up when u turn it on... it say apple.com/support/ipod.. and then it turns off...

dunno what to do because that site isnt of much help at all...

Now, is it used and you received it in this condition? If not what happened? Anything else you know about it?

If it's a 4th gen and you get the sad ipod icon, try dropping it onto carpet from 3 feet. No, I'm not kidding...

ok the Ipod is now somewhat working... but is more like a disk, or flashdrive in the computer... It ask for format and now it works... by the way after a few hits.. ok...

any idea of how to make it Ipod again and not much of a flash drive?

Ooooh I had that before. I reformatted it and sold it for over $100. LOL.

what format I should put into the Ipod for it to run music again... I can transfer files to it from the computer but each time i open the Itunes it say restore me!! and nothing else...

Restore it from iTunes, load the files from iTunes... use iTunes.
