Problem with Ipod shuffle

Im having an issue with my ipod shuffle, it was working fine until now, all the sudden it wont play, so i reset it and tried to connect it to the updater, but it says it cant mount ipod, when i go to my computer it I can see it there as removebable but the updater cant recognize it. Thanks for your time and suggestions.
 
solution: don't waste your money on an MP3 player that cant play songs in order and doesnt have a screen

are you sure you downloaded the right updater
