problem with IPExpress / need Hosts file app

I downloaded and installed IPExpress 2.2 (a Hosts Fille Manager). The app won't run though, I get the follwoing error message: Component 'MSDNS.OCX' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid.

  • 'MSDNS.OCX' is in windows\system, so it's not missing.
  • I tried to manullay regiter MSDNS.OCX using regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system\msdns.ocx and received the follwoing error message: DllRegisterServer in c:\windows\system\msdns.ocx failed. Return code was: 0x800ffff.
  • MSVBVM50.DLL is installed in my system

Any help would be appreciated.

If all else fails, does anyne know the name of a good (unbloated) hosts file manager?
