Problem with IE6 crashing

This is happening on 2 different PCs, get a crash and error message with IE shutdown.

The reports always reference msls31.dll., but I do not fine much on it.

IE6 is not listed in programs install/uninstall and manually trying to run the IE repair program give the errors for wbv.dll and setupwbv.dll , these are the dlls for the repair program and they are not on my PC, cant find them on the internet or on the XP CD.

I was thinking of uninstalling SP2 but since I have no clue if it will improve things wanted to wait and ask here. Thank you for any assistance.

I have tried using sfc/scannow which does nothing and finding the ie.inf file and installing it which keeps asking me for dll files on xp or sp2 cd that it can not find. Any simple solution available?
