Ok guys before you go calling me a moron i've done everything that the readme files have said to do. Tweaked all adjustments and still in b/w. I've got the s-video cable to rca converter then have that and the audio piped to the back of the TV. Pic looks damn good just in b/w. Its a new TV so i highly doubt its a problem with that. If anyone has any info other than what Sigma provides you with it would be greatly appreciated. Sat here for an hour earlier bumping that damn thing up one at a time and still nothing. Might just have to get a vid card with tv-out on it and say screw this H+.

DooDoo DooDoo..DooDoo DooDoo..DooDoo DooDoo............You have just entered the Twilight Zone! Sorry, I have no idea what to tell you, my dxr3 (hollywood in disguise) works flawlessly for me. I think you might have some kind of a software problem. Have you tried uninstalling the software, turning off the machine, pulling the card, restarting the machine, shutting down the machine, reinstalling the card, rebooting and letting Windows redetect the card, and reinstalling the software. That's all I can suggest at this point.

Good Luck

Yup tried everything that i can possibly think of. Should just junk it and get a GeForce 2 or Radeon with TV-Out.

Could be bad s-video to composite converter?
Try another one.

Doesn't the H+ have composite jack too?
If yes, why don't you just use the composite jack?

Once I had a Jaton trident 975 vga card, its composite tv-out gives b/w, s-video is ok, if I plug the s-video cable into the s-video jack, the composite tv-out sometimes can give color, very funny, kind of defective hardware, manufacturer doesn't have any solution.

I once had a picture issue with this card. I know that you HAVE to have your drivers installed before you install the applications. Not that this is your problem, I actually going to vote for the junking out part. Even when I did get this to work properly, it sucked. I never seen such terrible quality of a picture. At least for me, software dvd decoder was MUCH better quality. At least on my monitor. When out to my tv, sitting 12 foot back, it was'nt so bad. But if I was going to sit and watch a movie on my tv, a stand alone dvd player is far superior (and more convenient) in quality.

All the above stated is just one mans opinion.

A TV will never give off the quality of a picture that most monitors put out. I would like to have a stand alone just for the TV but i figured why not try and use this for the time being until i can afford one. My TV don't have an s-video hookup so i had to use the s-video to rca converter on it. I think i'm just gonna grab a new vid card with TV-Out and sell this vid card and H+. My machine is fast enough to handle software decoding anyways. And i've got a 16x Toshiba drive so i doubt it will be a problem.

You should definitely make sure that you're not trying to feed your TV with a s-video signal before throwing away the H+. Are you also sure you selected PAL or NTSC depending on what your TV supports?

I also have the H+ and never had problems with it. I think its TV-Out quality is exceptional.
