problem with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

I have updated my PS3 to the new version but when I come to play the game it asked me to do an update , when i make the update it just stop and the game won't do anything so I have to restart the game and cancel the update in order to play. can someone help me please ?

It took me about four to five times before it worked. Does the update begin to download at all? Or does it get stuck at the beginning? For me it would begin to download then after some progress (usually randomly) it would give some error about not being able to download then I had to quit and restart and do it again. Just keep trying it, eventually it will work.

but it didn't make any progress when i download the update it just stuck from the beginning
 
Try turning off UPnP on your router and to do this just re-setup your network settings from the Playstation. As it is setting up you will come to a UPnP enable or disable option.
