Problem with Gigabyte Mobo.

I have a 4 yr old GA-8knxp that after getting a static shock from froze. After rebooting, I only hear the fans running. No POST beeps.
HD is good.(tested on other PC)
Tried a new video card, no good.
The MB must be cooked.
Is this a good replacement?

Yes its cheap🙂, but I just want to use my existing components
CPU, RAM, AGP video card, power supply, etc.....
