Problem with getting Direct3D enabled

Ok. I have a Visiontek Geforce2 GTS-V card. I installed the card along with the NVIDIA 23.11 drivers for windows 2000, and the DirectX 8.1 Drivers for 2K. Now, I hit start, then run. then type in dxdiag to bring up the directx window. Then I click on display tab and it shows directdraw enabled, but direct3d acceleration says not available. How do I make this become available? Could it be some wrong Bios settings? I use a ECS K7S5A mobo. thanks.
