Problem with FS/FT user

Had a hard time trying to decide whether to post this hear or not. Forgive me if I shouldn't have.

I was working out getting an item from someone that offered it in the freebies thread in FS/FT, got almost done, just verifying shipping price, when he never replied to my/that PM, and my PMs later to ask what was going on got smartass replies, including that he had no idea who I was or what I was talking about.
Should I leave neutral heat, negative heat, let the mods know who, or just let it go? I know the sticky says to post neg. heat, but want to ask. Especially since he's active seller in FS/FT, and infact that seems to be the only posts he ever makes. And has no neg. heat. I'm sure he'll return a neg. too.

If no transaction took place, then no heat should be given. If in fact you did pay, well then heat away.
