Problem with folders on my comp

Ok so when I go to open a folder on my computer it goes right to search fuction and I cant see whats in the folder, i have to do right click to open it? What do you think the problem is? did I hit the wrong setting and if so how do i fix it. And I have no function to close the search



 
Try doing a scandisk & then a disk defragmentation.

If that does not work, you might want to get the drive diagnostic software from your drive manufacturer and test your drives integrity.
