Problem with floppy running on it own

hmm, could you provide a little more detail??
 
It isn't a backwards cable, the drive works fine. But it will just starts to operate on its own for no reason, I have even swapped out the drive. I am running windows ME.

I know that in Win98Se you can disable floppy seek, can't remember how 🙁 maybe some here running 98 can give you that step....
