Problem with Firefox AND Internet Explorer

Okay, whenever I try to log in to my gmail account through firefox, it goes to a blank page. I get that loading text on the top right for a second or two before it happens also. I thought that I might have screwed up some setting with Firefox, so I tried to just log in with regular IE, and the exact same thing happens. It has been doing this for about a week and a half now, and I'm really trying to figure out what's going on.

I decided to install SP2 last night (big mistake...), but it really screwed my computer up and after uninstalling it in safe mode, windows wasn't the same anymore... it was really sluggish and my sound wasn't working right, so I did a clean install of XP again. This morning I downloaded Firefox again and I was able to (from both browsers) log on to my gmail account. Needless to say I was really happy. I went on reinstalling my software and have only installed Kerio Personal Firewall and Panda Platinum Antivirus 7 (I had AVG before the clean install), and now BOTH of the browsers are bringing up blank pages after logging in again! This is really annoying, and it really sucks because my ID and whatnot for Panda was sent to that address, so I'd really like to get on there from my computer instead of having to go to a friend's apartment to get the stuff.

Does anyone know what might be wrong configuration/settings/anything-wise that could be causing this? I thought it could have been the firewall since it is the only thing from before that I have installed so far, but when I disable and/or close Kerio, the same thing still happens (I've also closed out Panda both on it's own and in combination with the firewall to see if that would fix to no avail).

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Edit: Oh, I forgot, on ebay, I can't log in at all either, but it does a different thing (once again for both browsers). When I put in my user and pass and hit enter it looks basically like it's just refreshing the page. Those are the only two known problems I'm having with the browsers, and they both really confuse me, because this time around on the XP install I haven't touched any configuration settings... I've just installed Firefox, AIM, Panda, and Kerio.

As I said in the first post, I did disable one, then the other, then both at the same time, and I had the same problem every time. Thanks for the attempt though... I do appreciate it!
