For some reason, this particular core with a 1500 work packet will crash either upon starting or when it finishes. I've deleted it in the past and was able to get a different core/work packet but now if I delete everything from my folder and start from scratch, I still get this core.

Anybody else having this problem?

What is a "1500" work packet?

This WU is a 401 point, double precision WU. It gets very good ppd because it is benchmarked with SSE turned off. I have been getting lots of them.

I wonder if the problem has something to do with the path location, because the problem occurs after the above line.
IIRC there can be permission problems with the F@H client and system folders. For sure if you are on Vista, I would install to a folder you create on the root of C:
Like: C:\folding1

'1500' is my reference to the size of the work packet. It seems work packets of different sizes don't have this problem.

Yeah, I thought of changing the path location but the system tray client doesn't allow you to configure your own. I use it instead of the console client b/c it's easy to pause/resume.

I'll continue to play around and might post over in the folding forum as other's appear to have the same issue.

Found a work around. Following GLeeM advice, I manually moved the installation and working directories to another location. I allowed the bad work unit to load, run and fail in the originally directory then was able to load a working work unit in the new installation/working directory.
