Problem with Epox 8kHA+ mobo and DDR Memory

My 8kHA+ mobo has 2 sticks of 512mb DDR memory installed but when it posts, it says there is only 16mb installed. I have tried flashing the bios, clearing cmos, changing a lot of settings in bios, and trying just one stick of memory, but nothing works. Does anyone have any advice? Also, let me know if you need more info.

Please help, because right now JediJorgie = 🙁
 
Brand is OCZ PC3500 DDR. I've had it since August. It did this the first time i put it in, but I somehow got it to work, just don't remember how. I did try another stick of memory in it, same thing. Although that was last nigt before i flashed the bios and cleared cmos.
 
Try the memory in slots 2 and 3, my 8KHA is quirky with the DIMM 1+2 or 1+3 used, but fine with 2+3 used.
 
MDE, you are without a doubt, the smartest man alive. I would have never thought about trying the 3rd slot. If you were here right now, I would kiss you in a completely heterosexual way.
