Hi,
I just bought a Samsung 191T to pair up with my Leadtek A250 (GeForce4 Ti4200). It works just fine with an analog input, but when I try to use the DVI, something strange happens : there doesn't seem to be enough colors... I can setup 16 or 32 bits display in the GF4 properties without a hitch, but the color shades on the windows tops are definitely ugly, and when I try to open pictures or playback videos, the image looks like it can't display all the colors. It's not as bad as when I actually switch to 8 bit (256 colors), but almost... This happens at all resolutions, and when I select 32 bits, it seems WORSE than at 16 bits. I am really at a loss at what could cause this... Is the card DVI output faulty ? Or the monitor input ? Or maybe the cable ? I am really at a loss as to why this would happen, so if anyone has a clue...
Fred
Configuration :
Windows 2K SP2
Detonators 30 or 40 (same result)
