Ok so My digidoc5 has been working fine since I installed it (3 days ago) and today I am messing around with the buttons on the front and then when I am done I notice that the temperature reading are now REALLY LOW...like my case temp is reading around 5 deg C and my heatsink about 8 deg C and I know this is wrong b/c my processor is monitored through my BIOS and thats reading it as 46 deg C sooooo does anyone know what I did or what I can do to get it back to normal?

PLEASE HELP...this sucks 🙁

One more thing, does anyone know if the 4 knob fan controllers like the rheobus and nexus fit behind the door on the chieftec/antec mid cases?

OK i found out that the vantec nexus and rheobus models fit, so disregard that question

go to Overclockers UK, find the digidoc5 in their product catalogue, and if i remember correctly, theres a link to the manual for it, cos they dont come with manuals i dont think. Check the manual to see whats happened.

well the manual comes on a CD in pdf format and I have that printed out but there is no troubleshooting guide in it. Anyone want to buy this thing off of me really cheap. It works and controls fans and reads the rise and falls in the temps it is just reading them low. I testing that it can read them by running a sensor outside the box then by holding it between my fingers and the temp reading began to rise. I might be just a moron and there is a simple way to fix it but I think I am just going to get a vantec nexus.

edit: this is the black faced model of the digidoc5 by the way...got it only a few days ago from someone in the sale forums who bought it from newegg and never installed it.

Another question...does the Vantec Nexus NXP-201 allow you to completely turn a fan connected to it off?

I had the same problem with my DigiDoc5 a while back, where temperatures appeared to be reported very low, as if they were temperatures above ambient rather than absolute temperature readings. It fixed itself in the end, though I can't remember exactly how. It just "happened" one day, and everything was back to normal.

Try resetting the unit several times, perhaps.

I reset it a few times with no luck..oh well. I actually just sold it to someone and got a sunbeam rheobus anyway. Gave them a good deal and told them the whole situation. I will show him this thread though so he can refer to it. Thanks again for all the help guys.
