Problem with Dell N5010 Laptop

Hey everyone, I am wondering if anyone has experienced a white screen issue with an N5010 Dell laptop.

When you turn it on, the laptop only displays a white screen. When you connect an external monitor, it works perfectly.

I have tried-
reseating both cable points, then I went ahead and bought a new cable
Replaced the LCD (It is LED backlit)
Cleared the CMOS
Stared at it for a long time

Any ideas?

A guess would be that a video driver chip has gone bad. If possible, with the unit on (ie, the subject LCD displaying the white blank screen), flex the MB and probe the onboard components and even connectors using a "newt" stick (ie, checking for possible bad solder joint).

Yeah this is why I am dumbfounded, ive replaced the LCD and cable, and the laptop works fine on an external display.

C1- I've poked and prodded everywhere to no avail. Ive probably reseated these stupid cables a dozen times now.

I can only assume its a faulty motherboard, but why does it work perfectly on an external screen? So weird!
