Hello all,

I just upgraded my system from an AGP motherboard to the Biostar NF4ST-A9 PCI-E board. My old board was a Gigabyte K8NSC-939. I have 4 512 MB DIMM's, two are PNY, two are generic.

With the old motherboard, they worked fine as PC3200 (400mhz). With the new board if I install one DIMM only, it is detected as DDR 400. However, if I install any more that one DIMM, it detects them as DDR 333. I have tried installing only two DIMMS, and installing all 4. Either way, it only detects DDR333.

Anyone have a clue what is going on here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Set your memory timings manually using the 2T command rate and 3-3-6 along with 200. Some boards don't offer any command rate settings. If your cpu is a venice or san diego core, the memory should run at 200.
