I just got this computer and for some reason, the cursor has a pixel about a centimeter away from the tip of the pointer that flashes different colors for some reason. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get rid of this. Also, when my cursor looks like an "I" over text, it has lines that flash on the top part of the "I" of the cursor. I'm not sure if I've explained this well, but if anyone knows of any updates from dell or knows how to fix this problem, let me know. TIA. I've updated the computer with the latest updates, but it still doesn't seem to help. Thanks for any solutions.

try downloading updated drivers from the dell site. There is probably an updated bios, alps touch pad driver, and video card driver that may all help to solve your problem.

www.support.dell.com
login with the account you used to purchase the system
(system should now show up on left hand side, if not I think there is an 'add system' function)
click the downloads tab on the top bar
choose os etc
now you have a huge list of downloads, some of which may be updated versions of your drivers.
