Problem with Counter-Strike

I just reformatted and loaded win2k but I have a problem now when I try to play cs...
I use the same resolution as my desktop (1024x968) but on my desktop I get 85 Hz and in CS I get only 60 Hz. Is there a way to change it?

If you have an NVIDIA card, search for the Win2k refresh rate tweak. If you have a 3dfx card, then search for the Voodoo Frequency Selector. I wouldn't know about any other cards. Good luck.
