Problem with computers seeing each other in Explorer

Just put together a new computer and now the computers will only see each other if I go to "find computer". They worked on the old systems, same nics as before. Same workgroup, sharing enabled, using windows logon, each computer assigned an ip address. I can map the drive after "finding" the other computer and it will reboot and the mapped drives are there. Before I could open explorer, go to Network Neighborhood and see them there. Any clues?
Thanks

Look for a LMHOST file in your computer. You can hard code the computers into this file so that you hould be able to browse them quicker.

Jator,
I'll bite, how do you hard code the info?
All the settings are the same as before with the other computer. Still the only way to see the other one is to map the drive.

Make sure you have 'file and print sharing' enabled on the new box and that it is bound to the same protocol as the other computers.

You can bind it to TCP/IP or NetBEUI, either one will work.
