Ok.. it seems like my computer has broken. The odd thing is that it is fairly new (2-3months time). I bought a kt7 raid with an AMD 1.0 thunderbird. THe problem is that it won't start up. Thought that it was the power supply, but hooked up the MOBO and CPU to another CPU and still doesn't start up. Friend told me that it might have fried. What i noticed is that the fan of the CPU would spin for less then a second and the light would light for a second as well.. and that's about it. If it really did fry.. how do I tell if it is the mobo or CPU.. and if the method you suggest is safe (in regards to not destroying anything) thanks

first, dont listen to your friend, if all he said was "it might have fried".. eh well .. his troubleshooting skills arent too great..
ok.. first take everything out of the case, even the motherboard. I would put the mobo on a cardboard box (like the one the board shipped in. connect your powersupply to the board, and connect the fan up. then if move ur case close to the board, so u can hook up the Pwr Switch cable, and the speaker cable for the internal speaker,.. put the vid card into the board, then power it on, and tell me what happens.. good luck..
