I have an old compaq armada 7792 which i just installed windows 95 on. Now when it starts up the display only shows a box that is half the size of the monitor. I tried changing the pixel size in the display settings, but it wont let me. The bar is dark and i cant move it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like Windows installed the default VGA driver as it didn't have a driver for your machines particular video card, or Windows misdetected your video card and installed the wrong driver. Both would leave you with 640x480 and the slider control greyed out. You might want to check the Compaq site and see if you can download video drivers for that model.

Best,
Bill
