Problem with Chaintech mainboard and Realtek NIC

ok...

i got a chaintech mainboard (5IFM)
but when i use any pci device, who needs an irq, he don't get an irq.
in the irq table ther is only an NA. in the bios there is no option to fix an irq to an pci slot, and i tried everything to get it to work.

i updated bios, i used different os (win 98/me and 2000), i used different drivers (it's an realtek nic, 100 mbit, pci 8139c), i used different pci slots, nothing worked...

what can i do to get this damn pci card to work???

have you tried a different nic? just to help narrow it down to just the nic and not the system.

I had major headaches with a realtek card last week, but I managed to fix them with a bios flash.
