Problem with CDex and my CD-Rom

When I rip CDs with my CD-RW, it works fine, if i rip with my CD-Rom, the computer locks up. Anyone have any ideas?

What version of Cdex are you running?

And do you use that drive for anything else?

I have ran CDex on 3 drives at once. (Iomega 12x10x24, Toshiba 16x DVD, and a 52x Memorex CD-Rom) It ran like a charm

1.40 beta 9, i use the cd-rom to install stuff

now i'm getting some fatal exceptions when ripping with the cd-rw

Go back to the non beta version and see if you still have problems.
