problem with CD-Writer

I have a plextor CD-R/CD-RW drive that is recognized by my computer and everything works fine with it. It will read just fine. But I have easy CD creator 5.0 and it won't recognize my Plextor drive so i don't know what to do...any suggestions? Thanks

Check out the Plextor websites FAQ. I had this same problem a while back. Not only did I have to do the drivers, patches, firmware, etc, but I had to dl a new "Loader" (I think that's what it was called) from Microsoft. Pretty well documented in the FAQs. You might need a new ASPI layer as a last resort.
