Problem with Cakewalk Music Creator pro24

I installed Music Creator pro 24 2004, Cakewalk, but I expirience some basic problem with it.

When I try to play something in it editor, automaticly program freezes it self and I have only one option and that is to End Task...

What could be a cause for this?
