I am having a problem getting ATI 9000 video cards to work properly with the Biostar M7VIT Pro motherboard. I have tried two different video cards, one with 64MB of RAM and the other with 128MB RAM and for both cards, the device manage tells me ?This device cannot find enough resources that it can use?. It then tells me to disable ?other? devices in the system to correct the problem. Both of these video cards work fine in other systems. The computer is running a clean install of Windows XP Pro with 256MB PC2700 and an Athlon 2500+. It appears to be a problem with the motherboard, I?m just wondering if it is just my motherboard or if all M7VIT Pro motherboards don?t like these cards. Also, I cannot find a bios update for the M7VIT Pro on Biostar?s website. There is a bios for the M7VIT however ? any idea if this bios will work for the PRO version of the board as well?

256 is kinda shabby for running windows xp, but it should be slow, not un-functional.

Make sure you're page file is "system managed size". This is done under control panel - system - advanced - performance settings - advanced - virtual memory - change settings - select system managed size. This will allow windows to allocate more hard-drive space to "pretend" to be memory. This is necessary because windows XP and it's programs are memory hogs, and do not work well when there is not enough to go around.

Also, Biostar BIOS's for M7VIT
