I'm having a problem with flashing the BIOS on Abit IP35 Pro. I made a bootable floppy with DrDos 7.03 (other bootable floppy creaters didnt work for me) and booted up fine to the A:\ command prompt. Then i took the bootable floppy out and inserted the floppy with BIOS files on it and ran the batch file (runme.bat), i got through the first 2 steps OK, but on the third step when i was asked if i'm sure i want to flash the BIOS i pressed enter and got this error: "physical media error". What does it mean? Bad floppy? I tried 2 other floppies and got the same message. I'm not sure how to fix this, can someone help?

Try fresh formatting the floppy disc.
Also: before flashing, disable any overclocking.

just use the winflash tool. I've done it probably 15 times with my 2 ip35e's and one ip35 pro with no problems at all. just make sure that all non-essential programs are shut down first and you'll be gtg.
