Problem with AvantGo on PPC2002

Everything's installed, it syncs properly...but...when I open the client on my 3635...uh...all I get is a blank white screen.

Huh?

I've got it installed on my Palm and have only seen this happen when the desktop-side of the application was messed up. Test out the connectiion using AvantGo Connect on the PC. And force it to refresh all content when you sync in the same AvantGo Connect program.

Sync via cradle or modem? I've seen something simiilar with a modem connection but it was just a bad phoneline and reconnecting fixed it. But that is with my visor.

Have you tried to uninstall everything (off your ipaq and PC) and re-installed? You might want to go to www.pdabuzz.com and search their forums. I'm afraid I don't know enough about the PPC version of avantgo to be of much help.

Can't help with this particular problem, but I do have a great tip for AvantGo/PocketPC.

Don't use the automatic sync. Take it out of the list of things that automatically sync and just do it manually by going to Settings->Connections->AvantGo Connect and click "Sync all". It's much much faster. It feels roughly 3-5x the speed of an automatic cradle sync. It's still synching through the cradle, but because PPC2002 includes the ability to passthrough the cradle to get an Internet connection it also bypasses the ActiveSync bottleneck.
