I am a fairly new user to Mandriva. I have the 2008 spring OS up and running. I have the task bar on auto hide. Somehow I did something that has locked the taskbar so it will not unhide(become visible). I also somehow(same issue?) locked the application menu and it is not visible either. I used the keyboard command Alt + F1 and the Application menu opened but it is locked. How can I restore the desktop so I can see and use the application menu and the taskbar? I can't get to the Mandriva Control Center among other things. Other than this issue the OS has worked perfectly. Got my USB wifi adapter working with NDIS Wrapper, watching DVD'S etc. For the record my command line skills are very weak. One reason I like this OS is I have not had to use Bash at all.Thanks in advance.
