Trying to get the audio drivers installed is proving much harder than I would have ever though possible for a sound card. Its called Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus.
Running windows XP.
Ran the Abit driver CD and it says succesfull, but nothing actually installs. When I look in device manager, there are no indications that there is a problem with the device, but when clicking on properties, it shows there is no driver loaded. If I click on update driver, nothing happens. If I click on uninstall, I get an error saying that uninstall failed, the device may be required to boot up the computer.
I have tried turning the audio device off and back on in the bios hoping to get windows to see it as new hardware, but it does not.
Any ideas for this one?? Thanks!
