Hello,
I just got an Audigy 2 sound card, and I just installed it and its drivers after uninstalling my Soundblaster Live card. however, now the sound doesn't work. No volume comes out of my speakers, which played sound fine before the audigy 2. Any recommendations to anything I might have forgotten/not known about. Thanks

although the above posts are very likely culprits I know when i unstalled the audigy 2 zs
from the cd along with it drivers and software I had nothing but problems with rebooting and dcom errors.
finally uninstalled all creative drivers and software got updated drivers only from website installed those and the card started behaving.

just installing the drivers over the top as an update did not work install only new drivers.
and toss creative software in garbage....also you may want to disable cthelper.exe in your startup lots of people have problems with it and it really only has one use as a driver helper for win dvd:roll:
