Problem with ATI-TV Wonder and P3V4X

Just recently dropped a P3V4X into my kid's machine and ever since have been unable to get his ATI-TV Wonder to work. It will work initially but after a reboot will not recognize the cable connection. We didn't have any trouble with this thing on the Intel board in it before. Anyone have any suggestions or experienced similar problems?
