The computer started rebooting itself atleast once during the windows splash screen before booting into windows successfully. Then it would no longer boot past the windows splash screen and would just shut itself down.
In an attempt to fix this problem I reformatted another hard drive and tried to re-install windows but when the computer went to do it's restart it shut itself down at the windows splash screen again, so I can't even re-install the operating system. It will not boot into safe mode as well, just shuts the system down about 10 seconds after it tries to load safe mode.
Here's what I've done so far with the hardware: I tried a new power supply, I have tried using different ram, I have tried a different video card, and a new hard drive. All of these items are working well in other systems.
I've checked with the Asus online techservice and they said it's probably my cpu or motherboard overheating, but I already know that they aren't.
Not sure what's wrong with the motherboard so I figured I'd come on here and see if anyone could help me out.
