Problem with AOL branded Kaspersky

I just downloaded the AOL version of Kaspersky yesterday, and have had nothing but problems since. Last night after I installed it, the computer would not respond and would freeze whenever I attempted to execute a program or command. I had to hard reset the computer about eight times because of this. I am going to have to uninstall the program if this keeps up as I cannot use the computer when it is running. Does anybody have an idea of what could be causing a problem with an otherwise great piece of software?

EDIT - The computer is fine when the program is shut off.
 
We tried it successfully too on one computer. Make sure you don't have any other antivirus remnants on your 'puter. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling (maybe in safe mode?). Good luck.
