Problem with an external raid

I have a 3TB external scsi raid which contains two xfs filesystems from an SGI system. It has some very serious file corruption i suspect and the two file systems were no longer able to be mounted. The sgi wouldn't even see them at all as a matter of fact.

I hooked the raid up to a pc running Knoppix. On the smaller of the two filesystems, I was able to run xfs_repair and rebuild the volume header and mount it. The other file system just causes xfs_check to die with a seg fault and xfs_repair isn't able to find any backup superblocks and just does nothing basically.

What I am wondering is if there is something I can try with this filesystem to be able to mount it, or if there is some way to recover the data on the drive. Any help would be great. Thanks
