I haven't had any of these installed for quite some time. Since I switched to Win XP back in December.
So I'm jonesing for some DOD. Load up Half Life, patch it. Download the latest DOD since I know my old saved version is obsolete.
I can ping servers fine, but when I try to get into ANY server, Half Life, DM Classic, TF, or DOD, it says "You cannot connect to a server with a different protocol than you are running" or something like that.
WTF? I've seen different .dll's, but not this. Tried reinstalling HL and the patch, then DOD, but no go.
Couldn't find this issue on any game-related forums.
Anyone have a clue?
