I just got a Aiptek pencam which does webcam and 1024x768 digital cam as well... Downloaded the newest drivers I could find (2.35) and installed on XP. Digital cam works fine and takes decent pics, but the webcam appears messed up... IE: it will be ok for no more than a second and then switch to a half screen image where the half with me in it, is in green, and then it quivers and quakes around alot. Tried the Webcam software that came with it, as well as Netmeeting and Yahoo Messenger. Can't figure it out. I need to get it working or tommorow it goes back to the store! MY Yahoo screen name is: sugar_valentine otherwise Shoot me an e-mail at spuddie30@hotmail or I will be refreshing this forum every 5 seconds or so. 😛 Thanks in advance! -Spankie

Well, it sounds like an incompatiblity issue. Does the software say that it supports XP? It could be so many things when it comes to webcam's and graphic issues. Most likely it is XP causing the problem. The best thing is to find another PC to test it on ( Another XP, and a 98 or ME OS PC ). You might also check the Windows Update files, and see if there is a driver upgrade. You might want to get all the compatibilty updates, ( if you haven't already ) and see if it does it with all programs that you are trying to use it with. Also, you said that it worked for taking pics, but not video. Check your settings off "My Computer". I don't know what else to tell you at this time. Just trying to help.
