problem with aim away messages in Trillian

I just noticed that when I put in an away message in Trillian that has line returns in it, those extra lines do not show up when people read my away message in AIM. Anyone else notice this?

for example, if I put this for my message:

"1

2

3"


It shows up in AIM as:

"123"


I have the newest build of trillian 3.1.
