Problem with AIM and DeadAIM

I am using the latest version of AIM and DeadAIM. Recently, AIM has been encountering errors and then terminates itself. This is happening pretty frequently. Has anyone had this same problem and knows how to correct it? I tried uninstalling both programs and then reinstalling them, but I am still having the same problems. Any ideas?
 
happened to me awhile backj on my old pc, the only way i could find to fix ti was to install trillian, other than that i dont know of a fix
 
bullion, go back to any aim version previous to .3139. It is not DeadAIM, it's an issue with that beta of AIM... it is horrible. Go back to an earlier version and it'll work fine.
