I just bought a new MSI 84G Max mobo and P4 1.6A proc.
Intel 845G chipset has built-in VGA support, so there is a VGA port substitutes the COM2 port.
My problem is, when I use my Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO video card, the screen doesn't show right. Color looks funny on the screen, sometimes can't even boot into Windows XP.
But when I switched to use the internal VGA, everything is fine. I've tried to change some of the BIOS setting but it still doesn't work when using my Radeon.
The mobo manual says that the AGP slot only accept 4X 1.5V video card, not 3.3V. I tried to look for technical spec for my Radeon but couldn't find one, not even on ATI website.
I am wondering what's up with this? The internal video just doesn't look good for me. Anyone has something to say?
Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks.
