Well, i used a program called spyware stormer and it said that I had over 90 "infections". My question is, are there any free programs that remove adware and spyware? If not, what is the best program to remove these and prevent them from being installed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bet everyone will reply with 'Ad Aware'. Yeah it's good with Spybot S& D & Pest Patrol (<--not free).

I use Ad-aware SE, Spybot S&D, PestPatrol and SpywareBlaster. Is not enough with just one app, you'll need a bunch if you want to stay "spyware-free"

it also helps if you don't click "yes" to random pop-ups, or install free games.

...all of which were due to Spyware Stormer itself ;) I'm speculating, but beware of software that purports to remove spyware, 'cause guess what...? Yeah. :p
