Problem with Advanced EAX HD

I just got my Audigy today. It all works except when i try to run the Goldmine Demo it's telling me it can't initialize the audio module and to make sure I have a Advanced EAX HD capable card. I am using the drivers off the cd becuase creative said they didn't have any for win2k. Everything except this works fine. What am i missing here?
