problem with abit kr7a

i've been having a problem with my system lately: when i use my scroll wheel on my intellimouse when browsing in ie6, the screen will flicker, and if i continue using the scroll wheel, the system will bsod and then reset.

the error message that comes up isn't always the same though. sometimes it says "nv4dsp.dll" (or something like that), sometimes it says "usb.sys", and other times it says "irql not less or equal"

i figure the nv4dsp.dll has something to do with my display driver - i have an abit siluro ti4400.

the usb must have to do with the optical mouse and the scroll function.

the irq problem is beyond me.

this is a really annoying problem as i am unable to browse the internet for longer than ten minutes before it will reset. i've tried new 4in1 drivers, new nvidia driers, new bios for the kr7a, and i've patched ie6. nothing works so far.

i'd be forever indebted to the person who helps me.
