Got an unusual problem with this driver (and all of the 8x.xx drivers it seems).
Specs:
DFI NF4 SLI-D
A64 3000+
2x 6800GT
4x512MB Corsair
PCP&C 510SLI
Mistu 2070SB
I uninstall my old drivers, reboot in safe mode, run drivercleaner, reboot again, and install the drivers. It completes and asks to reboot. I do. Then, I go into the Display Properties, click on Advanced, click on my GeForce 6800GT, enable SLI. No reboot is necessary anymore.
All is good. Except as soon as I go back into the GeForce 6800GT properties again, I get a BSOD. It's also interesting to note that when I go to look at the nvapps.xml file, it is blank. Before I enabled SLI it showed all the game profiles, now it's got nuttin.
Reinstalling the drivers fixes everything... until I enable SLI again. I tried the beta drivers and even XG's beta drivers. Nothing. I had to go back to 77.77whql. Now, it's perfect.
Any ideas? There's a lot of SLI users out there and nobody else has mentioned a problem like mine.
