Problem with 6800GT games resolution

Guys.. I've got a weird problem.

I have agp 6800GT card. My desktop res is 1280x1024 (18" LCD with max res 1280x1024)
Funny thing is.. in games, my max resolution is 1024x768. I've tried nvidia driver 66.xx and the old 61.xx version. They are both the same.

Any idea on how to fix this?? THanks in advance
 
That is a weird problem. I know some older games don't have a higher res than 1024x768. You might try unstalling your video drivers, then running drivercleaner, then reinstalling the 66.93 drivers.
