problem with 3DFX tv tuner and Win XP............

I am running win xp pro and am trying to get my old 3DFX Voodoo tv tuner to work. Does anyone have any windows xp support drivers for this card? I can't find them anywhere and cannot get the card to work. Thanks

Ugh, you might be SOL, 3Dfx died long before XP was released and its major product lines (V3, V4/5) have been kept alive on life support only through the generous contributions of enthusiast programmers out there.

Your best bet might be to check out Voodoofiles or guru3D, as they're a few of the sites that continue to provide 3Dfx drivers on a regular basis. The only other thing I would try is the reference drivers for the capture chip on your tuner card. Not sure what it is though.

There are no 2k or XP drivers for VooDoo TV cards. Nor will there ever be.

There is one program that supports the VooDoo TV cards in 2k and XP though

It's called Dscaler (http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/) Just select your Voodoo TV card from the list the program presents

Not sure if it's the same card as my old STB TV tuner, but I sold it when I upgraded to 2k because of the lack of drivers.
